Subscription & Billing Policy
This Subscription & Billing Policy ("Billing Policy") governs subscriptions, payments, renewals, upgrades, downgrades, cancellations, free trials, refunds, and billing matters relating to LifeHub.
This Billing Policy is incorporated into and forms part of the LifeHub Terms of Service. In the event of a conflict between this Billing Policy and the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service shall control.
1. Subscription Plans
LifeHub offers both free and paid subscription plans.
Current subscription plans may include:
Free Plan
- Up to two (2) Circle Members
- Access to basic LifeHub functionality
- Limited features as determined by LifeHub
Silver Plan
- Up to six (6) Circle Members
- Access to Silver-level features
Gold Plan
- Unlimited Circle Members
- Access to Gold-level features
Platinum Plan
- Unlimited Circle Members
- Access to Platinum-level features
LifeHub reserves the right to add, remove, rename, merge, modify, or discontinue subscription plans, features, benefits, and limitations at any time.
2. Subscription Terms
LifeHub may offer subscriptions on:
- Monthly billing cycles
- Annual billing cycles
Subscription availability may vary by region, platform, promotion, or device.
Subscription fees are displayed at the time of purchase.
By purchasing a subscription, you agree to pay all applicable fees, taxes, and charges associated with your selected plan.
3. Free Trials
LifeHub may offer free trial periods for eligible users.
Unless otherwise stated, free trials are valid for seven (7) days.
Free trial eligibility is determined solely by LifeHub.
LifeHub reserves the right to:
- Limit free trial availability;
- Revoke free trials;
- Refuse free trials;
- Modify free trial terms; or
- Terminate free trial programs.
At the conclusion of the free trial period, the applicable subscription fee will automatically be charged unless canceled before the trial expires.
Only one free trial may be permitted per user, household, payment method, device, or account, as determined by LifeHub.
LifeHub reserves the right to deny or terminate free trials where abuse, fraud, or circumvention is suspected.
4. Automatic Renewal
ALL PAID SUBSCRIPTIONS AUTOMATICALLY RENEW.
By purchasing a subscription, you expressly authorize LifeHub and its payment processors to automatically charge your designated payment method for recurring subscription fees.
Subscriptions will renew:
- Monthly for monthly subscriptions; or
- Annually for annual subscriptions
unless canceled prior to renewal.
Renewal charges may occur automatically without additional notice except where required by law.
It is your responsibility to cancel your subscription before renewal if you do not wish to continue service.
5. Payment Authorization
By purchasing a subscription, you authorize LifeHub and its payment processors to charge:
- Subscription fees;
- Renewal fees;
- Applicable taxes;
- Governmental fees;
- Transaction fees; and
- Other authorized charges
to your selected payment method.
You represent and warrant that:
- You are authorized to use the payment method;
- Payment information is accurate;
- Payment information is current; and
- You will promptly update any changes.
6. Failed Payments
If a payment fails for any reason, LifeHub may:
- Retry the payment;
- Suspend subscription benefits;
- Restrict account functionality;
- Downgrade your subscription;
- Suspend account access; or
- Terminate the account.
LifeHub is not responsible for any loss of features, content, functionality, Circle access, or subscription benefits resulting from failed payments.
7. Subscription Upgrades
Users may upgrade their subscription plans at any time.
When upgrading:
- New pricing may become effective immediately;
- Prorated charges may apply;
- Additional features may become available immediately; and
- Circle limits may increase based upon the upgraded plan.
LifeHub reserves the right to determine how upgrades are billed and applied.
8. Subscription Downgrades
Users may request to downgrade their subscription plans.
Prior to downgrading, users must comply with all limitations of the requested lower-tier plan.
Examples include:
- Removing excess Circle Members;
- Reducing storage usage;
- Reducing feature usage; and
- Meeting any applicable subscription limitations.
A downgrade request may be denied until compliance with the lower-tier plan requirements is achieved.
LifeHub shall have no responsibility for removing Circle Members, deleting content, or modifying account settings necessary to facilitate a downgrade.
The user remains solely responsible for achieving compliance with the selected plan.
9. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time.
Cancellation prevents future renewal charges but does not entitle you to a refund of fees already paid.
Unless otherwise required by law:
- Access continues through the end of the current billing period;
- Subscription fees already paid remain non-refundable;
- No partial refunds will be provided; and
- No prorated refunds will be provided.
After cancellation, your account may revert to the Free Plan or another applicable service level.
10. No Refund Policy
ALL FEES PAID TO LIFEHUB ARE NON-REFUNDABLE EXCEPT WHERE REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE LAW.
This includes:
- Subscription fees;
- Renewal fees;
- Annual subscription fees;
- Monthly subscription fees;
- Promotional purchases;
- Upgrade fees;
- Feature purchases;
- Unused subscription periods;
- Partially used subscription periods; and
- Unused features.
LifeHub is under no obligation to provide refunds, credits, or prorated reimbursements.
Any refund granted by LifeHub is provided solely at LifeHub's discretion and shall not create any obligation to provide refunds in future situations.
11. Pricing Changes
LifeHub reserves the right to modify pricing at any time.
For existing subscribers, LifeHub will generally provide at least thirty (30) days' notice before a pricing increase becomes effective.
Notice may be provided through:
- Email;
- In-app notifications;
- Website notices; or
- Other reasonable means.
Continued use of a subscription after a pricing change becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the updated pricing.
12. Promotional Offers
LifeHub may offer:
- Promotional pricing;
- Discounted subscriptions;
- Referral programs;
- Coupon codes;
- Introductory offers; and
- Limited-time offers.
Promotions may be modified, suspended, revoked, or terminated at any time.
Promotions may not be combined unless expressly stated otherwise.
13. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If a user initiates:
- A chargeback;
- A payment dispute;
- A payment reversal;
- A fraudulent transaction claim; or
- A similar billing challenge,
LifeHub reserves the right to:
- Suspend the account;
- Restrict account access;
- Remove subscription benefits;
- Terminate the subscription;
- Revoke promotional offers;
- Prevent future purchases; and
- Pursue collection of outstanding amounts where permitted by law.
Users are encouraged to contact LifeHub support before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute.
14. Subscription Abuse
LifeHub reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts engaged in:
- Free trial abuse;
- Refund abuse;
- Chargeback abuse;
- Account sharing abuse;
- Subscription circumvention;
- Fraudulent activity; or
- Any conduct designed to avoid payment obligations.
15. Taxes
Subscription fees may be subject to:
- Sales taxes;
- Value-added taxes (VAT);
- Goods and services taxes (GST);
- Use taxes; or
- Other governmental assessments.
Users are responsible for all applicable taxes associated with their purchases.
