Family Location Sharing & Consent Policy

This Family Location Sharing & Consent Policy ("Location Policy") governs the use of LifeHub's location-based features, including location sharing, Locations, arrival and departure notifications, driving analytics, crash detection, SOS alerts, and related functionality.

This Location Policy forms part of the LifeHub Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1. Purpose of Location Services

LifeHub's location features are designed to help families and trusted individuals:

Coordinate daily activities;
Improve family awareness;
Enhance communication;
Receive location-based notifications;
Monitor the whereabouts of minor children;
Receive safety-related alerts;
Utilize driving analytics and driving-related insights; and
Manage family logistics.

Location features are intended solely for personal and family use.

By enabling location services within LifeHub, you expressly consent to the collection, processing, storage, transmission, and sharing of location-related information as described in this Policy.

Location information may include:

GPS coordinates;
Latitude and longitude;
Device location;
Travel routes;
Arrival events;
Departure events;
Motion activity;
Driving activity;
Speed information;
Direction of travel;
Crash detection signals; and
Other location-related data generated through the Services.

Location collection may occur when:

The application is actively in use;
The application is running in the background;
Device permissions permit collection; or
Location-enabled features are activated.

LifeHub operates through Circle-based sharing.

Location information is only shared with authorized members of the applicable Circle.

LifeHub does not provide public location sharing.

LifeHub does not permit temporary location sharing with individuals outside a Circle.

LifeHub does not permit public tracking links.

Circle members may be able to view:

Current location;
Recent location activity;
Arrival notifications;
Departure notifications;
Driving-related alerts;
Crash detection alerts;
SOS alerts; and
Other information authorized through Circle settings.

Parents and legal guardians may create and manage accounts for minor children.

By adding a minor child to a Circle, the parent or legal guardian:

Represents that they possess lawful authority to provide consent;
Authorizes LifeHub to collect and process the child's location information;
Authorizes location sharing within the Circle;
Accepts responsibility for supervising the child's use of the Services; and
Accepts responsibility for monitoring privacy settings and permissions.

LifeHub does not independently verify parental authority and relies upon the representations made by the parent or legal guardian.

5. User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

Obtaining any required consent before monitoring another person;
Complying with all applicable laws;
Maintaining accurate Circle memberships;
Managing location-sharing permissions;
Supervising minor users under your care; and
Using location information lawfully and responsibly.

You may not use LifeHub to:

Stalk any individual;
Harass any individual;
Monitor individuals without lawful authority;
Conduct surveillance activities;
Violate privacy rights;
Engage in domestic abuse or coercive control;
Facilitate criminal activity; or
Violate any law or court order.

LifeHub reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts engaged in prohibited activity.

6. Locations and Geofencing Features

LifeHub may allow users to create designated Locations.

Examples include:

Home;
School;
Workplace;
Church;
Athletic facilities;
Family residences; and
Other user-defined locations.

Users may receive notifications when Circle members:

Arrive at a Location;
Leave a Location; or
Spend time at a Location.

Location notifications are provided for convenience only.

LifeHub does not guarantee:

Accurate arrival times;
Accurate departure times;
Accurate geofence boundaries;
Notification delivery; or
Continuous operation of Location features.

7. Location History

LifeHub may retain historical location information.

Availability and retention periods may vary based on:

Subscription tier;
Product offerings;
Account settings;
Technical limitations;
Legal requirements; and
Business needs.

LifeHub reserves the right to modify location-history retention periods at any time.

Historical location information may be deleted, modified, archived, or become unavailable without notice.

LifeHub does not guarantee permanent retention of location history.

Users should not rely upon LifeHub as a permanent repository of historical location information.

8. Driving Analytics Features

LifeHub may provide driving-related information and analytics.

Examples may include:

Speeding events;
Hard braking events;
Rapid acceleration events;
Phone usage while driving;
Driving summaries;
Driver scorecards;
Driving trends; and
Other driver-related insights.

Driving analytics are estimates generated through automated systems and available data sources.

Driving analytics:

May contain errors;
May be incomplete;
May not capture all driving events;
May incorrectly classify driving events; and
May be unavailable in certain circumstances.

Driving analytics are intended solely for informational purposes.

LifeHub does not certify driving ability, driving safety, driver competence, or compliance with traffic laws.

Users remain solely responsible for operating vehicles safely and lawfully.

9. Location Accuracy Disclaimer

Location information may be affected by:

GPS limitations;
Cellular coverage;
Wi-Fi availability;
Device settings;
Operating system restrictions;
Battery-saving modes;
Hardware failures;
Environmental conditions;
Network interruptions; and
Other factors beyond LifeHub's control.

Accordingly, LifeHub does not guarantee that location information will be:

Accurate;
Complete;
Current;
Continuous;
Available; or
Error-free.

Users should never rely exclusively on LifeHub location information when making safety, caregiving, legal, medical, emergency-response, or law-enforcement decisions.

10. Crash Detection and SOS Features

Crash Detection and SOS Features are supplemental safety tools only.

LifeHub does not:

Monitor emergencies in real time;
Contact 911;
Dispatch emergency responders;
Dispatch law enforcement;
Dispatch roadside assistance;
Dispatch medical personnel;
Dispatch security personnel; or
Guarantee assistance of any kind.

LifeHub may send push notifications to Circle members when:

A potential crash is detected; or
A user activates an SOS alert.

LifeHub does not guarantee:

Detection of all crashes;
Detection of actual emergencies;
Successful transmission of alerts;
Successful receipt of alerts;
Response by Circle members; or
Availability of communications networks.

Users should always contact emergency services directly when assistance is required.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LifeHub shall not be liable for:

Inaccurate location information;
Delayed location information;
Missing location information;
Lost location history;
Notification failures;
Driving analytics errors;
Crash detection failures;
SOS failures;
Actions taken by Circle members;
Misuse of location information by users; or
Decisions made in reliance upon location-related information.

Users assume all risk associated with the use of location-sharing features.

12. Changes to This Policy

LifeHub may modify this Location Policy from time to time.

Updated versions become effective upon posting unless otherwise stated.

Continued use of location-related features constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
