Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs access to and use of LifeHub and all related services, applications, websites, software, features, and functionality (collectively, the "Services").

This AUP forms part of the LifeHub Terms of Service and is incorporated by reference into those Terms.

1. Purpose

LifeHub is designed to help families and trusted individuals communicate, organize information, manage schedules, coordinate activities, share locations, store documents, and utilize AI-powered tools.

To maintain a safe, lawful, and trustworthy environment, users must comply with this Acceptable Use Policy.

2. General User Responsibilities

Users must:

  • Comply with all applicable laws;
  • Respect the rights and privacy of others;
  • Use the Services only for lawful purposes;
  • Provide accurate account information;
  • Maintain account security;
  • Use LifeHub responsibly and ethically; and
  • Follow all applicable LifeHub policies.

Users are responsible for all activity occurring through their accounts.

3. Prohibited Conduct

Users may not use LifeHub to engage in conduct that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, fraudulent, deceptive, or disruptive.

Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

Harassment and Abuse

  • Harassing individuals;
  • Threatening individuals;
  • Intimidating individuals;
  • Bullying individuals;
  • Stalking individuals;
  • Encouraging violence;
  • Promoting self-harm; or
  • Engaging in abusive conduct.

Privacy Violations

  • Tracking individuals without appropriate consent;
  • Monitoring individuals without lawful authority;
  • Sharing private information without authorization;
  • Collecting personal information from others without permission; or
  • Violating privacy laws.

Fraud and Deception

  • Impersonating another person;
  • Creating fraudulent accounts;
  • Providing false information;
  • Misrepresenting identity;
  • Conducting scams; or
  • Facilitating fraudulent activity.

Illegal Activity

  • Violating any law;
  • Promoting criminal activity;
  • Assisting unlawful conduct;
  • Facilitating illegal transactions; or
  • Using the Services for unlawful purposes.

4. Location Services Misuse

Because LifeHub includes location-sharing functionality, users must exercise particular care when using location features.

Users may not use LifeHub to:

  • Stalk another person;
  • Monitor a spouse, partner, family member, employee, or other individual without appropriate consent;
  • Engage in domestic abuse or coercive control;
  • Circumvent privacy settings;
  • Track individuals secretly;
  • Facilitate harassment;
  • Facilitate criminal activity; or
  • Violate any court order, protective order, or legal restriction.

LifeHub reserves the right to immediately suspend or terminate accounts involved in misuse of location-sharing features.

5. Child Safety

Users may not:

  • Exploit children;
  • Harass children;
  • Collect children's information without authorization;
  • Share inappropriate content with children;
  • Circumvent parental controls;
  • Misrepresent parental authority; or
  • Use child accounts in violation of applicable laws.

LifeHub may immediately remove content, suspend accounts, or report conduct where required by law.

6. Communications and User Content

Users may not upload, transmit, distribute, or share content that:

  • Is unlawful;
  • Is defamatory;
  • Is threatening;
  • Is obscene;
  • Is fraudulent;
  • Infringes intellectual property rights;
  • Violates privacy rights;
  • Promotes violence;
  • Promotes criminal activity; or
  • Violates applicable law.

Users remain solely responsible for content they upload or share.

LifeHub may remove content at its sole discretion.

7. Document Vault Restrictions

Users may not use the Document Vault to store, upload, distribute, or share:

  • Stolen information;
  • Fraudulent documents;
  • Illegal content;
  • Malicious software;
  • Malware;
  • Viruses;
  • Ransomware;
  • Content that violates intellectual property rights; or
  • Content prohibited by law.

LifeHub reserves the right to remove prohibited content without notice.

LifeHub is not responsible for reviewing all uploaded content.

8. AI Services Restrictions

Users may not use AI Services to:

  • Generate unlawful content;
  • Facilitate fraud;
  • Facilitate harassment;
  • Facilitate stalking;
  • Facilitate criminal activity;
  • Generate malicious code;
  • Circumvent security controls;
  • Violate intellectual property rights; or
  • Violate applicable law.

AI-generated content remains the responsibility of the user who uses or distributes it.

9. Security and Platform Integrity

Users may not:

  • Attempt unauthorized access to any system;
  • Circumvent security controls;
  • Probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities without authorization;
  • Interfere with Service operation;
  • Introduce malware or malicious code;
  • Reverse engineer the Services;
  • Decompile software;
  • Access non-public systems;
  • Interfere with other users; or
  • Disrupt Service availability.

LifeHub may investigate suspected security violations and cooperate with law enforcement when appropriate.

10. Automated Access and Scraping

Users may not:

  • Scrape data;
  • Harvest information;
  • Use bots;
  • Use automated collection tools;
  • Perform data mining;
  • Extract content at scale;
  • Mirror the Services; or
  • Create derivative databases from LifeHub content.

Written authorization from LifeHub is required for any automated access.

11. Commercial and Organizational Use Restrictions

LifeHub is designed primarily for personal and family use.

Unless expressly authorized by LifeHub in writing, users may not use LifeHub for:

  • Employee monitoring;
  • Workforce tracking;
  • Fleet tracking;
  • School-wide monitoring;
  • Organizational tracking;
  • Church-wide tracking;
  • Government monitoring;
  • Commercial surveillance; or
  • Enterprise deployment.

Family subscription plans may not be used to avoid purchasing appropriate commercial or enterprise products.

12. Subscription Abuse

Users may not:

  • Abuse free trials;
  • Circumvent subscription limits;
  • Create multiple accounts to avoid payment;
  • Share accounts improperly;
  • Manipulate billing systems;
  • Abuse promotions; or
  • Engage in fraudulent payment activity.

LifeHub reserves the right to suspend accounts engaged in subscription abuse.

13. Enforcement

LifeHub may investigate suspected violations of this AUP.

LifeHub reserves the right to:

  • Remove content;
  • Restrict functionality;
  • Suspend accounts;
  • Terminate accounts;
  • Limit access to features;
  • Disable location-sharing functionality;
  • Disable AI functionality;
  • Remove Circle memberships; and
  • Take any other action reasonably necessary to protect LifeHub, users, or third parties.

LifeHub may act with or without notice.

14. Reporting Violations

Users may report suspected violations of this AUP by contacting:

LifeHub may investigate reports but is not obligated to take any particular action.

15. Changes to This Policy

LifeHub may modify this AUP from time to time.

Updated versions become effective upon posting unless otherwise stated.

Continued use of the Services following an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
